Although it’s sad, governing is more than often about choosing what you believe to be the lesser evil. There is a very great game on steam that emphasizes that aspect called “Reigns”.
It’s still the same nowadays but with billionaires in place of merchants and lobbies instead of clerics.

all that’s needed for evil to prosper is for good men to do nothing. if the king can’t see this then he was never taught the basics of ruling. such an incompetent tyrant will only bring death and darkness to his kingdom. even as his knights fight to spread light across the land his actions decrees and choices will simply deepen the darkness elsewhere all in the name of keeping his kingdom going and so the fighting will never end.
Hope the King is js testing MC. If not, then that as one a** kingdom. This what happen when ur to dependent on one organization or country.
