i remember reading this a loooooooong time ago but forgot what it was and didnt bookmark it but found it again before i used this site….its not as exciting and captivating as some stories but its worth the time
I can’t give this a score, because it’s like a 7.5 and a 9 at the same time. Maybe 8.3/10. Let me explain, so the story definitely doesn’t do anything new, and the art starts off as honestly kinda mid (although it gets much MUCH better so it’s actually decent now), for some incomprehensible reason, it’s just so interesting. I couldn’t stop reading, and with 130 chapters so far, that’s pretty impressive.
The entire story is a power fantasy of course, and kind of feel-good type for the most part, but it was always fascinating. It takes something that’s been done before, and does it amazingly. A few plot holes, granted, but very few, and none of them are all too impactful. The person that is criticizing it is exaggerating on all the flaws, also. Read it if you have time!

I decided to drop this at chapter 90 after that I’ve found myself quickly scrolling through the last 20-30 chapters out of boredom.
I wouldn’t say it’s bad. I just don’t resonate with the feel-good style.
Blonde righteous MC whose face is slightly d@mb and either smiles like he took ecstasy or looks worried for whatever existential reason. After 90 chapters the only thing that changes is his hairstyle.
Blue aired dude flirting with red haired aggressive tsundere.
Silver haired sword princess as love interest of the very dull MC. After 90 chaps he barely touched her hand but rather friendzoning her. Even the bandit serving as their guide was annoyed by his dullness.
It took him ages, two mystics and two seers to realize that the dude of his “dream” was himself. Like, seriously, I know it’s not Tibet or India but never heard of past life?
He went crazy rejecting the dude’s sword style because the academy director told him to look for his own “sword”, and all he did was copying the style of his three friends and the director was all ok with it. Literally nonsense.
The pace is slower than a turtle on ice.
The plot is unclear. Sure, there are demons and they f@cked up with him in the past life and he will have to face them, but you can’t really call that plot, can you? I mean, even going to the supermarket on the corner implies more complexity than such a linear basic “plot”.
And chapter after chapter, it feels like nothing happens.
It’s not action, not romance, not slice of life, not regression/reincarnation/isekai.
It feels mostly generic and underwhelming.
I guess, if you’re in the mood for some not-demanding feel-good generic fantasy story and don’t mind the blondness, you might enjoy it.
But I prefer stories with more personality and grit.
