Ok question, after reading this chapter, I went red all the previous chapter, when the freak did Ignet learnt Mystic art !? Like the ONE thing that made Airen stand out and made him different from other swordmen. She just master it out of nowhere. During the tournament chapter, when she displayed something that is seems to be an incredibly rare type of aura, I was like, okay, a bit plot-armor/mary-sue but you know what, she trained, Idk how difficult it is supposed to be be she is hailed has the genius of the millenia since she was introduced so okay, let’s give her that she master an aura supposed for kings that young, so it was okay. But this chapter, with her mystic art or whatever ? nah sorry bro, that’s mary-sue as hell, she developed a super strong powerful aura why doesn’t she use it ? Like, what was the point of showing it 3 chapters earlier if you just give cheat code to Ignet. Airen and Ignet have different goals and use different tools to reach them, the author just blew this away in one scene.

I don’t particularly hate Ignet, it’s an interesting character that despite her absolute confidence (and her past), she improved here and there. But these last chapter, between the “Jealous” Ignet, the Super rare and powerful aura sword she used to show off (at this point it feels like that) and the fact she get by the snap of a finger mystic arts (and what the hell is territory declaration…brother…).

Airen needed to throw away 5 years of his life and devoted teachers like Ruru and Kruvar, the Orcs tribe shaman (I’m probably forgetting some) to get where he is, constant meditation, self-improvement, and that’s because he had strong affinity and a titanium like will/determination, that was distinguishing him from other character that had their own way of improving.

Sorry but nope, that would mean Ignet is a swordman genius and a mystic Art Genius from this chapter apparently it seems) ? Fine, but show us that earlier in the story author that maybe she was exploring this option of using mystic art, or that she had worked her ass of because she saw Airen using it and saw potential (even though it would get me made because that would be akin to stealing the MC speical traits but at least, it wouldn’t look like it’s puleld out of nowhere), because the few time we see her training, it’s when she randomly pop up and say “Fight me or I’ll come back tomorrow”. Ignet just became a sorry excuse of a Mary-Sue in this chapter.
