The green knight is supposed to have a mostly mechanical body (replaced body parts) 
and lost an mechanical arm in the battle?
(It is harder and does take longer to draw a battle damaged mechanical body, so i guess it was done to savetime / speedup production / release.)
plus is green knight described as crude because he has a cannon installed in his crotch area to suprise attack the enemy…
