I don’t know if the adaptation will mention this next chapter, but the Novel version already did by this point, so I’ll mention it here. The guy that Ames is searching for is a man named Aesop Hurricane. Born before the Galaxy Calendar even began, this Eternal Oracle has been traveling around the various Star Fields (Galaxy Superclusters) of the explored universe for ages.
The long years however has made him tired of most things in life, however. Power? Not interesting, as he was once a galactic civilization’s vice president. Wealth? Meaningless to him, because resources don’t have a real owner, making wealth a false definition. Beauty? Tired of it long ago, and the females he mated with could circle a fixed star several times. Strength? Experienced before, as he erased a planet from the map with a horrifying weapon once. He’s grown tired of living in a literal sense, and the only fun things left to him are freedom, curiosity, and excitement! Thus, he became a treasure hunter who traveled everywhere with unknown whereabouts, using his ability to foresee the future to carry out a game of sorts. If he won, he would feel empty, and if he lost, he would rejoice. Aesop has lived too long, and thus become incomprehensible to ordinary people.
However, at one point during his adventures, he adopted and took care of an ordinary little girl. As she grew up, he taught her how to awaken and use her powers. Then when she was ready to travel on her own, Aesop left, stating that when she made a name for herself, he would return. That girl was Ames, and by now, she has accomplished this goal. However, her adoptive father and teacher has still yet to return even once, so she’s become desperate to find him. Now, Han Xiao, another Oracle (albeit through different means) may be her only hope of ever finding her parent.

Man I just love this series. It’s going to be real interesting how our MC accomplishes that side quest while working for the Dragon Queen. Also I’m really excited about what new skills he will be able to obtain working in the Dragon queens mechanics shop. I should probably pick up the light novels XD
