and skipped showing the scene of the silvers who were thrown out the airlock… in order to show it now instead, as a flashback to put it on the same page it becomes relevant…

thereby destroying a STORY of subtle buildup & Payoff…

What is their target audience for the Manga? it doesn’t seem to be anyone with good memory who really likes the story/novel?

As I suspected, this worldbuilding detail was not mentioned in this chapter. I posted this comment in the previous chapter already, but this quote from the Version 2.0 Han Xiao remembers perfectly sums up who Ember is, and the Dark Star Organization’s ideology.

“I was fated to become Godora’s nightmare, to make them reflect on their backward traditions with slaughter. The bloodline belief they firmly hold onto goes against the ways of reproduction and nature, and it was this mindset that created us. After their confession, they will swallow the bitter fruits they have created through the thousands of years of pure blood belief. Upon their ruins, Dark Star will rebuild Godora! By then, there will be no pure blood, no one superior because of their bloodline. Discrimination will cease to exist, and no one will be inferior from the moment they are born!”

Like the Germinal Organization of Version 1.0, the Dark Star markets itself as an army of revolutionaries and believes that their cause’s revolution needs sacrifice and the resolve to reach their goals by any means necessary. Hence, they have no issues with doing extremely evil acts, thus making them the most radical terrorist organization in the Shattered Star Ring.
