Man I just got done with the novel and was excited by the manga, but so far this is not as good as it should be, lots of missing content, they should really do a 1:1 of the novel, I understand it would take awhile but the novel is so great its disrespectful what the manga is doing, whoever is making the manga should be fired and the manga restarted by someone who truly cares about the masterpiece that is The Legendary Mechanic.

you can see something similar in the movie “Angels and Demons” used by High End Religious Secret Knowledge that they’ve been murdering innocent curious people they call “withces” throughout history for… to keep the knowledge of such tech Monopolized by only the church.
in their defense… such high end knowledge can also be used for Evil…(while being lazy) WAY easier than using such knowledge for good (which requires you to purposely know about the evil uses and AVOID them the entire time you are using it for good, while the temptation to be lazy and use the evil means is always tempting you to fall to the dark side…
