Ember setup the ambush… and prevented him from escaping by creating a DOME of carbon/diamond shell to trap him in the area, the only background they’d need to draw would be a solid gradiated color dome… and ground, no buildings or such… way easier…

also completely accurate and explains why MC doesn’t just run away, instead… they are fighting in the OPEN? can see the sky? surrounding Buildings… they DIDN’T EVEN DO AN ESTABLISHING OVERALL SHOT for… to give perspective of WHERE they are…
 

but they chose the harder option… contrary to their previous decisions of changes to story…
 
JUST to not follow the Novel accurately? Pile extra work on and exploit/overwork the Artist? (so they have to waste time drawing random stuff, with NO novel description and actually makes the manga WORSE! the more effort and time they put into drawing it?)

Also skipped him creating a mission for his Players… so we know he’s Fighting to Hold out, waiting for reinforcements, so there is tension… but still hope…

instead we get… the perspective of the bad guys… not the mc’s perspective?
