In actuality, while Han Xiao doesn’t know this yet, borrowing luck from another character has the exact opposite effect when it comes to collecting Mission Completion Cards. Since these “common” items are considered all but completely useless to the players, individuals with more than almost nonexistent luck stats will almost never draw such an item, and instead draw higher-tier skills and such. While temporarily boosting your Luck attribute for drawing rewards is great for getting Molding Talents and the like, Han Xiao needs to rely on his almost nonexistent luck if he wants any shot at drawing Mission Completion Cards. As such, when he finally gets a pair of cards two months later in a consecutive draw, (which does increase the odds btw) he’ll have only succeeded because the luck he previously borrowed vanished after two phone calls interrupted his momentum.
Yeah to explain why I was so disappointed in the last chapter.
One of the things they skipped was the introduction of the civilisation where the 4th statue was held.
it was a planet next to a wormhole which served as a kind of d*mpyard for space civilisation. So you had multiple pieces of debris from different super-system like mechanics, runic or psychic falling from the sky there.
And you had a multitude of countries which began to develop using those techs. Rune City is a city which was founded using rune rash.
that’s mostly it, but that’s nice to know that those kinds of things exist in this universe and not just a copy past of Earth or any generic fantasy civilisation.

What strange creative change choices they are making to the manga adaptation…
Why didn’t they make the 4 statues he needed to collect into 9 statues instead…
Just like they did by adding extra random spaceships not part of the story in previous chapters?
