That hole in his cheek and bullet in his brain (novel description of where mc shot him) sure looks like a giant hole in his chest….
They draw the gore in this manha uncensored tho…interesting… (doesn’t look 100% biologically accurate wound, but can’t expect artists to be doctors or have to draw such fine details.)
