My main problem with this chapter, is that first: they’re not ordinary humans – normal humans, or those with cards that do not possess combat abilities would have no chance against the vampires, in a sense, they all have surpassed “old” humanity.
Second: eugenics is not dead, it’s still in the head of many important people (it’s also already being tested with gene modification) and as science progresses, with things like transhumanism being popular even amongst normal people, eugenics will probably become a normal thing. For worse, probably, as the Estate will be able to probably manipulate the genes somehow even if in secret, hell they probably don’t need to, they just need to make eugenics with affirmative action to make negroes more intelligent and people would eat that up, there are many tools to fool people. In the worst case scenario they’ll probably use it to silently genocide the people they don’t like, although they’re already doing it, just look at Canada or the USA.

If it wasn’t for all the mental instability and need to kill humans, having a class that can override someone else’s class and let them convert to a combatant would be pretty damn useful.
mc is saying the old gen is beating them when it’s really only him and his team which all has cards so that’s not really accurate and the vampire lord is saying humans need to evolve which is true but he’s making them evolve into monsters so it isn’t really human evolution.

both of them are kinda right and wrong. The necromancer saying that he’s being beaten by the old species doesn’t make sense when they’ve all people with cards have become something more than human. However the vampire lords stupid because everyone has powers so it doesn’t matter if he’s a vampire. Ehh I don’t know what I’m saying.?♂️?♀️????♂️

I do wonder the path this story will head to after this arc.
Parasites? You know, parasites can’t survive without a host and If the parasite is overpopulated, then the host will be weakened or dies. That’s when the parasite dies too. So you need normal, living people to survive yourself.
And vampires are like mosquitoes. They’re parasites that suck blood and get on people’s nerves. F**k you!
