Pal, is it your second book about necromancers, SL included? It is quite common for necromancers to experience death in different manner to obtain/increase power.

It’s just the base quest line for a necromancer in any story. The plot line of this one is far different from solo leveling. No double dungeon, it’s the beginning of the monster invasion, it’s a game type scenario, and MC isn’t alone here. Also his sidekicks aren’t necessarily that much weaker than him. He’s just the MC so plot makes him lucky with items.
