Id have to say my biggest problem is how brain dead the girl is like what she knows the name of her skill it has sword master in it and she never even thought of using a sword like nah lets just bring a small round shield specifically made to be useable with one hand and nothing else into a dungeon.

There are multiple very much glorifying reinterpretation of that historical figure.
According to an english-versed korean historian I found online, people portayed him as unreliable and socially unstable. He regularly acted out after drinking and was accused of several crimes inhibiting a violent nature. And he was apparently(?) known to be hated for his negligent demeanor outside of battle.
So you see, that he became famous only after his death, which gives proof of a relentless public abuse of his life and story till today. His life seems to have been directed by public infamy, though.
If you’re good at reading korean, then there should be better references out there, than the ones i found.
