To be fair, this absolutely seems like a strong get stronger, weak get weaker, type of setup. As exemplified here, mc kinda monopolizes the best reward and grows exponentially quicker than anyone else regardless of any other factor.

You know thinking back on the summary of this webtoon, I just realized that they go on a quest every month…. meaning if there’s only 20 floors of trials, so everything would be over in a year and 8 months’ time. And obviously MC only just made it to the 20th floor after 99 turns, which means he had to have died multiple times way earlier. So say he averaged around 10 months every turn, that’s still 83 years going through the same thing. And he still didn’t think to try things differently until he’s down to his “last life” (technically second to last). It’s insane that he did this for 83 years and didn’t make any friends.
