Everyone between the age of 15 and 25 worldwide is required to participate in the death game of twenty rounds. The main character starts his 100th challenge thanks to his ability to regress. Having experienced the game 99 times beforehand, he is able to become overwhelmingly more powerful than anyone else. Once he realizes that the condition of the last round is to have at least five people, he starts to take in party members in order to avoid repeating his past mistakes.

Of all the stories with portals I’ve read, this is the most brutal mechanic of a system that seems to serve only to amuse some gods*.

In each round, usually only a maximum of 50% of all players can survive. This is because the players who are not in the top 50% in the competitions are wiped out.
In addition, there are many players who abuse their powers in reality and are therefore sometimes hunted by the Mc.

Of the 1.8 billion (!) players at the start, only 1,716 would survive the 20 rounds under the best of circumstances (50% in each round). In my opinion, the moral decisions of the Mc are also understandable.

There’s no romance with Ryu-Min for at least the first few hundred chapters. Not because he doesn’t realize it (he can read minds) but because he doesn’t want to build any more bonds (after 99 regressions).

*Demon Prince goes to Academy Part 2 doesn’t count here.
