His pure stats are low but his items stats are high…. 
read it again… as long as his pure stats are balanced, then all his stats plus his item stats will double.
From what I see, all the rewards go to the one who get the kill, people assisting it doen’t get anything. Juri buffed MC all the time he killed 3/4 bosses and she got nothng, even just some exp or golds. That’s a hell of a system for supporting units.
