Aaah stop making gold = won. 5 billion in gold, such amounts did NOT exist. No commoner ever SAW gold, that’s how valuable a gold coin was. How would you even store that? Transport that? You could raise and maintain an army year round with a few thousand gold coins, so how do you get to billions? Do these authors not try to imagine the things they say?
