Either the hunters from this verse are majorly op or this is a false rank for the gate, because aint no way in hell that was an f rank gate.. while our MC isnt leveled up his stats are much higher than his rank assuming i understand his synchronization abilities as intended

Egos are personalities within items. If an animal’s body could be used as an item then their consciousness would be the ego. Lou’s [Cannibalism] activated, meaning that he’s devouring an ego. If you take how egos and ego masters can’t level up without the other, that explains why monsters can’t level up.
Conclusion: Boss monsters are egos.
