Starts out ok, then the translation gets horrible, some of the art strange and then the plot jumps so much I’m wondering if someone messed up the order. I’m currently at ch 115 and wondering if there is any point of reading further.

This starts good, but after 50 chapters it stops being about progression, and it just becomes politics and plotting all the time

Chapters have become unreadable towards the 100+ chapter, due to ridiculously poor translation. Sad that I had to drop it since story no longer made sense

i give up reading this from Mangaread, I recommend whoever wants to enjoy the story to find a different provider because the translation after 90+ chapter becomes unreadable. Of course I will continue reading from here but not for this manhua.

Chap 122 (last available atm).
I’ve binge read this. It’s not bad but also not great.
From a storytelling perspective I’ve found it somehow lacking in clarity and substance. The feeling of glossing over the story is typical of fast paced OP MC stories with a relatively effortless level-up and no real challenges. I don’t dislike it, and I’ve seen it executed much worse, but still it feels like something’s missing.
The several powers he collects are way too convenient most of the time, which forces the author to puts weird limitations to some of them, like 1 month cooldown.
Also

change of scenario

at some point he leaves his place to become leader of the Murim’s internal affair and it just seems weird that there are tens and tens of chapters where he has zero contact with his clan, it’s just not credible

The very big focus on the MC and on his questionable powerups and skills-collecting makes the story feel shallow on the social aspect. It’s a one man show with little to no warmth or depth.
So it ends being just a sequel of powerups, which after 120 chapters honestly started to bore me.
Anyway the plot is getting close to the final confrontation, so it might be interesting to follow this a while longer.
