Hmmm… I should have stopped at 42, the answe of life, and everything in the universe, until at least a few more chapters came out. I knew this was the last, but I hoped it would end the arc without huge cliffhanger… whatever, 44 or 45 are likely to answer a lot of questions without introducing even bigger cliffhangers.
One question that stays: who is manipulating spacetime?
Personally, I think the hero is selfish, but entirely separated from the demon worshippers, he’s just so used to pushing the buttons and shoving the pieces together with his actions over the course of his regressions that he doesn’t care about the negative consequences, but instead the benefits, like having the priestess in his party, fame and having the happy ending where Zeke dies.
While the new translator isn’t bad, how hard would it have been to keep names consistent with other chapters? Or even fully consistent within this one chapter (Waig/Weig)? Or even distinguish names from regular English words (Valid)? Or even just be readable in English without going “huh?”
Maybe this chapter just didn’t get a proofread.
MC is testing to see if the other guy regressed…

I get the feeling that there are forces at work that will force MC to be a demon lord again.
