Yup it’s kind of a pointless story where mc just goes around doing good deeds and there’s not much detailing to it,it was good until he left his house but then everything became kinda average (6.5/10)

It start good until he left his house (~ch 4?)
Then you will face the skips and boring story telling. Heh, dont even expect detailed stuffs.

Wasn’t aware of the novel, but up to chapter 58 and my only real complaints are the changes in name and the occasional inccorect grammar.

It’s good but the constant name changes by translators gets real old, real fast. MC is given like 6 different names by the TL groups.

I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would! The title doesn’t seem to apply for the first few chapters, but then it gets into the swing of it. An enjoyable story about a villain trying to live a better life — his way.

after reading 2 chapters, i think that this manhwa is definitely for Veterans!! not for new readers, give it 2-3 years of reading brainrot, then you can understand this probably

You know how other stories usually just over explain their power systems and some do it really bad? This is done in the opposite way, there are no explanations for anything, like anything at all so things just happen. From a reading standpoint, it’s ok I guess, not really bad because it’s an adaptation. Even without reading the novel I always have the feeling of there were something cut out for the story, as a mindless read it’s ok, but if you want something more, not really recommendable.

Terrible. Judged after chapter 18. The background that made the past MC isn’t explained. The intro to enter the story arc sux, felt too random. The third arc focused too much on a random temp/side character you don’t care.
With the title, would be good if the story focused on a slice of life.

powers aren’t explained.
mc has no true goal, nor end to work towards.
very little personality or defining features/traits.
he goes from being useless to dominating multiple trained assassins.
if “lukewarm” was a manwha.
