it feels like such a waste that he got his arm chopped off – he seemed cool enough that I thought he’d be part of the gang. maybe as an instructor since he lost an arm? he’s actually legit strong, enough to force MC to open his 4th core.

I had high hopes that the fight would last for at least two chapters. I was so excited that the author would give more insight on how Ghislain’s opponent became the strongest sword of the west, his struggles as a master, the amount of training that he went through for him to earn the title etc. Since he was already inserted the character in the main story line, might well as build the character and show to us that he could also be a worthy subordinate of Ghislaine or at least a worthy opponent strictly in swordsmanship.
I have always liked the warrior without a war trope… good ish
To the Orks, “Greatest Foe” and “Best Friend” have the same meaning.
