This hast to be the first time I’ve ever seen actual swordsmanship techniques and not just the “heaven severing slash” which is just a downwards slash the coul a. Be easily dodge or b. Easy countered by any capable swordsman…
This uses proper technique for different sword styles and the use of feints, defects, parrying and countering. It’s a beautiful sight..
And MC basically just won because he caught the other guy by surprise.. in another fight the other guy would be able to anticipate that technique and prepare countermeasures..
