I have a good feeling about this guy.
I really don’t think what MC did here is smart: sure, keeping the enemy count alive was not an option, as he had outside support and would have come back again given time. But taking his land under such laughable claim? Seriously? What Ghislane just did is give enemy lords a valid reason (bogus document, signed under threat) to go after Perdium openly, not just secretly from behind others. Worse, he made enemies of other lords who were not allies of Duke Delphine, were neutral or even friendly to Perdium before, but had some claim to Degarde’s lands, and who would be angry over what Ghislane did

…if he wanted to leave the count’s fate up to the citizens, why was he allowed to still be wearing plate armor? At least put him in regular noble attire rather than battlefield armor…
