I feel like this manga forces the enemy to be incompetent, after all they have great defenses and ballistas all around, why wouldn’t they just shoot the balloons, since balloons a bit slow, they sitting ducks for at least 30 seconds. It would make sense if they showed the balloon being reinforced, but this working genuinely makes no sense. It would with gliders or planes as those don’t admit much light, but hot air balloons emit a lot of light and should be visible at night due to fire. Maybe im js rambling tho.
