If you build towers outside walls, they can be used by attackers, and what is a logic behind building second tire of walls same hight than those inside. When they are scaled, attackers will shoot you without any problem. Author is a retard who didn’t visit any castle. God damnit look at any japanese castle and you will see a multiple levels of walls, giving no defensive positions if captured by enemy. No straight route from one level to another. Sure it’s magical world and shit but that kind of oversimplification is borderline ignorance or stupidity.
