kinda shocking he hasn’t made crossbows for the ants to attack with. they would almost certainly pierce the armor the soldiers are wearing and they could get 4-6 shots off before needing to retreat.
Careful they might wander off for days collecting random flowers and mushrooms.

If we are lucky, they will reach the Fort in about 5 chapters and this sh*tty war arc may end in about 15 to 20 chapters…
