Now that is stupid plot point… not even talking that slavers would have released that girl and told bear killed her. Then to otolaryngology, which is very modern invention and would just confuse anybody not from 20th century and then demanding 20 gold pieces for slave that is already a write-off. With such business acumen slaver would quickly go out of business.
…. so … the slavers are rejecting potential customers because they don’t bring gold in person ….. yeah that sounds like a viable business practice.
Ok I’m done here, this has reached Wuxia levels of ridicule. In wuxia novel it’s common for a MC to go somewhere and the shopkeeper telling them to get lost because they look poor, only for the MC to prove them wrong. It’s so cliche and dumb and against any common sense for a merchant… but it makes SOME sense in chinese stories because Chinese saw merchants as leeches and never hold them in high regard … here is just plain dumb …
slavery is banned in this modern age… thats why im locked up for the accusation of it. SOMEONE HELP ME M INNOCENT.
In the previous chapter I didn’t see him getting saved by her nor did I see him use magic nor did I see him as the spirit for help, all I saw as a last panel was him giving a flying punch to that pervert face the end. Chapter 2 seemed out of place and full of bullsh!t
