Typical of this series. Shrug off everything emotional with a joke, smash some demon’s face in the most insane way a few chapters later.

Again, undercutting a serious moment with humor, the Blood Fog arc was so good despite its flaws, why hasn’t anything on that level shown up again? We’ve had plot points with way more build up than Hugo’s family since then but they’ve all ended without anything big happening.
Also this plot point of Libra being possessed heavily devalues her arc
