Can someone tell me if it gets better after this? This series still has potential it could live up to and I hope it does but idk if I’m willing to find that out myself, I probably missed some good and bad points earlier but’s honestly just been downhill ever since the Blood Fog arc. Every arc is just tied to the last via “and this villain is actually allied with the main villain of the previous arc”, to the point that everything that happens could genuinely just be a massive conspiracy that MC overpowers. Everyone besides Lee is a dumbass (with the possible exception of the monarch of time), most villains are one dimensional and the only characters to ever actually do something without MCs help are Hugo and his son during the aforementioned fog arc. There were signs that the story wasn’t gonna hold up from the very beginning but I hoped it would get better.
Also they genuinely just need to stop with the humor, almost every emotional moment has been undercut with a joke in some way and the dogpiling on Hugo and Steven while they’re down stopped being funny after the 5th time
