The way the story is written the revenge feels kinda lackluster.. missing proper motivation and stakes. He’s holding the reigns since the beginning having this powerful knight caring for him, easily uncovering the truth about poisoning. The elite spy trained and indoctrinated since early childhood easily faltering and betraying their master instead of simply committing suicide..
for a really hard and punishing game that took him 10 years of daily grinding to clear this seems way too easy… Especially considering this is an unknown scenario for him.
