The headless swordsman appears to be wearing the same rags as the hero when he was executed.
Would be interesting if the MC has been bottling up his desire for revenge on the world that betrayed him.

Okay, so my best guess. The hair-tie changes her personality to her presumably dead older sister when she wears it. I assume this is why the bathing scene girl had a different personality and why she lost her will to fight when she lost the ribbon.
The thing inside him is confirmed not to be a typical ghost which then begs to differ what is it? A dullahan or demon are my top two guesses. The past version of him must have become a demon/undead due to the nature of how he died.
The seal thing is the biggest mystery here. She saw the seal when they struck swords which means he is connected with it somehow. Could be a flashback or foreshadowing of a future event. The seal itself could be any number of things but my guess is going to be a seal to a door/bridge to another world. Possibly the previous world he was in before he died.
