So is it great? No. Is it better than most recent Isekai I’ve read lately? Yes. The comments below are all on point, whether its love or hate of this manga. It is equally as satisfying as it is annoying. It’s the Nickelback of manga… But I still bookmarked it. So, I guess I like Nickelback?
better on all stats compared to that sage shit who returned and want normal life shit
jesus is making a copy right off that title
SPOILERS! THEORY SPOILERS!
Who wants to bet the girl in the princess in the chair is the same girl he was traveling around with in the other world? Any bets? Taking bets now!
Anyone know the light novel or webnovel of this manga? It is quite interesting for me so i want to read
My review as of chapter 12
2.5 stars
It’s not the most rare for me to review something I think is terrible earlier than my usual 20 chapters. But this one did something to me that I had never gone through in a manga before.
You can actually go read for yourself in the first 12 chapters where I left comments as I GO THROUGH ALL 5 STAGES OF GRIEF. I didn’t realize it till I was writing the comment on chapter 12 and it just hit me that something seemed familiar here. So here we go.
Story. It’s essentially, MC was bullied, get’s sent to another world, becomes a hero, gets betrayed, gets sent back to old world, wants to live a peaceful life, doesn’t. Except the key details is that he reincarnated into a new body back in his old world and now there’s monsters and magic everywhere and it’s 20 years in the future.
The main plot is given the illusion of progress by these things called Gates which force the mc to not live peacefully by spewing monsters, literally almost every single chapter. And yet the MC is still not revealed to the public despite all these people finding out about him.
Characters. Because of all the constant forced action, most of the cast are unable to be developed. They’re passable but only as cliché cutouts of other stereotypes you’d see in these manga. We only got one real moment where we got some real plot development and it wasn’t even a full chapter, It was just one of those side story .5 chapters.
Action. The action is pretty decent and also the only reason why I didn’t give this series a 1 star to begin with. It’s quick but fairly well drawn and easy to tell where things are. It’s also pretty good at broadcasting the impact of the attacks so that it’s fairly easy to understand how strong things are.
I can’t really complain about the action other than that it takes up the majority of this series and doesn’t really have a point to being there half the time.
Would I recommend it? If you have literally nothing better to read. Other than annoying me it’s not really doing any harm so it’s a good time waster. But I would hold off unless you’re REALLY bored.
The quality of writing for shounen stories are declining heavily. None of the cast feels relatable or believable in the setting they live in. Publishers need to stop picking up what’s popular from syosetu and pick up actual talented authors.
A manga but felt like reading a manhwa at the same time. Unfortunately, it’s quickly fell to your typical garbage shounen manga. Tho, still good for skimming to waste my time.
So far this doesn’t seem like the usually slop that comes from the far east. Its for kids so its not for me. As long as this doesn’t turn into the usual sexualizing kids and glorifying harems it should be alright. Also what’s with that? why do so many jap comics sexualize kids? not a good look, must be some of that IJA blood in them. 2/5.
Quite the combination of isekai/reincarnation/possession, and even making it a bit of a time leap for the MC.
Got enough humor in the first ten chapters to prevent me from taking it too seriously.
7.5/10

Bookmarked? Yes
It has been a while since I’ve read a good old fashioned returner manga with an op mc, but I definitely wasn’t disappointed. Unlike other stories of this genre, the mc didn’t return with his original body nor time period. It’s a small touch that really makes it stand out a bit from the rest. Along with that, the mc learns about the original hosts past from his own experiences in the body. Though crowded with cliches, the story isn’t bad. No character feels forced to move the plot either. However, if there was one thing I would’ve preferred, it would be more chapters covering the conflict. Each conflict gets introduced for a chapter or two and gets resolved immediately afterwards. But if there was a positive, it would be the art being above my expectations. The cover art is really doing the manga some injustice compared to how the actual art is. Overall, a classic and cliche manga with an empathetic protagonist which is enough for me.
Thankfully, there is no forced harem yet.

Unless there is a Christmas miracle/curse, all scores are finalized, and I have an innate bias towards stories with snip-bits of romance
Too early to tell for sure, but the foundation is solid. The setting is filled with cliches, but the characters feel interesting and too much time isn’t spent on drama. Lots of potential.
If that girl from another world also got reincarnated with no possible fights for heroine and she’s alone is match-made for the MC. I will 100% recommend this shit to anyone no matter or whichever path this series will go through. Just for that matter/reason alone.
good (?)
Reminder to myself. Don’t read this Manga
MC is a chicken sh*t
