I wish one of these authors would show the reality of being aware as a new born baby.
The pain would be excruciating and unimaginable!
A newborns muscles, bones, organs etc are all rapidly growing.
the human feature of gaining true self awareness and consciousness several years after birth might also be attributed to an evolved defense mechanism that keeps humans unware and without memories from the development at the early stages of life.
The truth is, if any of us were to actually be reincarnated and we remained aware/conscious as soon as we were born; we would’ve wished that we’d never been born…
