I’m kind of disappointed, in the novel, seol sneaks up to the Medusa while it’s attacking the fortress and shoots it in the back(also uses a spell ball I think) which angers her and turns most of the parasites away from the fortress to chase seol as he runs away into the valley, using a predetermined path and to the trap laid by Ian and the other soldiers. Those parasite deaths were way more satisfying(boulders crushing the roaches and the gaters). The running section was also way more intense and showed seol’s lack of control of his earrings with multiple close calls. Also, Teressa KISSED him like a predator lunging at her prey(as described in the novel)instead of hugging him. The gifting scene was honestly better.
Novel is just better(except for the tutorial, that was goated).
