I am hoping that while he is goofing off at the bottom rank, that all the other adventurers die off on quests and he ends up being the only one alive, and we find out that those old men who made the tests impossible did so because they were tired of burying people younger than them.
However, i am a realist and i doubt this will happen. But hey, it’s got 96 chapters as of this post, so SOMEONE out their is spending money on this.

I may not get bored of this trope, but having a villain that’s pretty weak with a very big, cocky ego gets help from someone “Lurking in the shadows” And end up probably being given something that causes them to lose their humanity and become some kind of monster is a little too overused, specifically in Isekai/Fantasy/Adventure/Magic & all that kinds of series.

Threat? Threat implies the antagonist poses a danger of some sort… these guys can’t even nick the mc…

On my second reread, and it’s really good!
