This is so sd and heartbraking
I feel for the mc. He finally found people he could be himself around, only for it to all be ruined. Even further, the mc now has to kill the people he, just a few days ago, called friends. This is another huge step towards the mc’s ever-dwindling and ever-deteriorating mental state. After all this, I genuinely hope for the mc to find happiness at some point later on because it is becoming depressing, seeing this man go farther and farther into loneliness and depression. I wouldn’t be surprised if, in one of the next few stages, the mc’s mental state completely shatters and he commits suicide or becomes insane due to something completely unhinged happening In the tower.
