It was just a boring day.
But suddenly a message appeared where I was invited to Tutorial – a new world.
I was also asked to choose a difficulty level from 3:
easy, normal and hellish.
Without hesitation, I chose the heaviest, hellish one.
And here I am in a new world, in vain I chose this level of difficulty.
I need to get out of this world…

Truly a blessing, some pacing issues here and there, but a very well-managed storytelling and power scaling. Various new ideas and surprising concepts. Out of the many power fantasies, this one stands high for not going all over the place and manages to remind you of the overarching goal while still offering a unique experience and making you feel the flow of time.
Also, a consistent art style.
As of chapter 171, 8/10 would definitely recommend.
every game meant for VR. “the tutorial is too hard”
9/10 Finally something with 0 art shifts
5/5 a must read
We are never catching up to the main story. 🙏🙏🙏
Love it I want new chapters
Does he ever get out?is that when this ends?
Its pretty unique. And it has a pretty interesting approach to the theme and genre….. but. There is no tension. Without spoiling anything lets just say we know what will happen down the line. And that erases alot of excitement one could get from a story. And it doesnt seem to want to fix that critical flaw
One of the best in genre. Just try it
Worst cr@p ever.
It’s not “badly written” like Boundless Necromancy (which has a very similar system) but the plot is horribly boring and the pace is DEADLY SLOW.
I could have coped with the pace IF the plot was interesting, but it’s a whole f@cking manhwa of this dude fighting alone.
I’ve read a dozen chapters thoroughly and then I’ve quickly scrolled one after the other up until 40 to see if anything interesting happens but apart for 2-3 chapters where there was a meeting of all people from all difficulty levels (which was refreshing also because of how the meeting went), there is ZERO social contact. It’s always him alone in the lobby or alone in the floor or meeting with a cute bunny admin after clearing a floor (very boring repetitive meetings where nothing happens but he asking questions, eating together, and buying items).
After chapter 40 I jumped to 70 to see if later on he starts having companions but like the beginning can make you imagine, he will really be alone for f@cking ever.
I have no idea why would anybody enjoy seeing a dude defeating monsters alone chapter after chapter. For me, there is no beauty and no value in something like that.
This, and Boundless Necromancy, are by far two of the most boring stories I’ve read in my long life (and I’ve read thousands). Tastes are tastes though, so, if you’re into soloing, give it a try. But if you like interaction between player, this is going to kill you of boredom.
The pacing can be somewhat slow but the character devlopment is impeccable and MC is continually challenged while improving all aspects of himself.
its a slow pace but personally i feel like its quite underrated and dont listen to these bozos that say its “bad” its quite a good read and i’d reccomend it
After chapter 100 its so mid
i like it, its kinda slow pace story building theme with biografi. Not suitable for people who want fast action pace.
What does the ss stand for on the tag for this manga?
