I’m sorry but I just dont feel the emotional struggles here. Everything to me here feels forced imo. Its all based off one very very stupid and out of character mistake that MC made. WHY THE FUCK WOULD HE DRINK PARAMAL IN THE FIRST PLACE? He has always been very cautious, calculated. To him, that drink should have been a terrifying thing. And he knew these people to him, weren’t real to begin with it. So like…why drink it? He knew something was off about the drink, he knew he came here to clear the tower (so he could leave), he has resolved himself countless times before to do so, so why take the fucking drink?
The floor where he had to kill the goblin king with the crying children was more emotional to me. Same with the monk temple. I feel in the monk temple, they dealt with the topic of his loneliness and willing to subconsciously form a bond with people wayyyy better than this.
Would’ve left that floor with multiple children

So, if you don’t have to leave a floor immediately after clearing it, then why didn’t MC stay on the floor with the knights and the magic lady? He could’ve learned the way of the sword and learned how to use advanced magic. He was already considered a prodigy, so it wouldn’t have taken him long. Talks about using all options to get stronger, but he’s kind of a dunce.
