God damn the author is just sandbagging now
The author keeps coming up with excuses for why the mc is having it easy. It’s confusing. The author wrote these scenes like this, they could just write exciting battles. But saying he didn’t show his real abilities, so he was underestimated and the fights were easy seems like a cop-out.
It’s like the author wants to not have to write well thought out battles, but also wants the ability to make them more challenging whenever they need to pad the word count. The fights in the previous chapters had some excuse as to why they were easy too.
It seems lazy. The speedrun floor seems interesting, but with everything else so far, it makes me think the author just didn’t want to have to write a new floor.
So… Hardcore Speedrun?

MC wanted it hardcore, but not Hardcore Mode when you lose everything.
Why am I rooting for this guy when I know he’ll be A-OK living it up with his clone later?
Ah, the cliche where mc goes back to the start and despairs because he forgets he gets to keep all his knowledge and experience. how fun
I’m not sure if they can take away his psychological resistances but they can’t take away his weapon and magic knowledges since they are outside the system, maybe he can run through the stage with just magic

…. i worry about this storytelling. He keep deflating any kind of hype for the reader. I mean we already know he will end up at stage 60. So whatever happens he will end up there. And now we are going through a reset of this magnitude……. is there a novel and if so is it finished? I might concider reading the end in order to release me from this.
He spent a lot of time grinding resistances. He can’t do that now. This is going to be rough
I hope any powers, abilities or levels he gains go over to after he finishes.
