God damn the author is just sandbagging now
The author keeps coming up with excuses for why the mc is having it easy. It’s confusing. The author wrote these scenes like this, they could just write exciting battles. But saying he didn’t show his real abilities, so he was underestimated and the fights were easy seems like a cop-out.
It’s like the author wants to not have to write well thought out battles, but also wants the ability to make them more challenging whenever they need to pad the word count. The fights in the previous chapters had some excuse as to why they were easy too.
It seems lazy. The speedrun floor seems interesting, but with everything else so far, it makes me think the author just didn’t want to have to write a new floor.
So… Hardcore Speedrun?

MC wanted it hardcore, but not Hardcore Mode when you lose everything.

The Hell Difficulty should be renamed to Spite Difficulty
