Personally, I’m enjoying the steady progress of the story, seeing him dealing with the present while telling us about the past. I’ve seen it done in other stories and even wrote my own like that years ago, so this is just my kinda thing.
If it were to stick with the present, they’d be doing a lot of time skipping since he can only really wait for the girl, but instead of that, we get to see how he got there while they do time skips in the present.
People wanting the story to shift to the future timeline is insane. IT’S ABOUT THE GRIND. You really want him to become op without knowing why?
All this future stuff makes me think of what the 100th floor is. If it truly is hell mode, I’d imagine it’d be a free for all of all the contestants who’ve made it up to that point or something.
I think this timeline thing is unnecessary it’s alright it’s there but nothing has really came from it yet
