(takes a deep breath) just enjoy the book…what if the blondies are living up to the stereotypes of being airheads. They can, of course, distrust people except each other, but wholly swallowed lies after lies told by insidious people.
Yes, totally justifiable to want more info and wait to give judgment (but took everything given by a pretty boy religiously – who cares if you decided not to trust others because their all out to get you) but never asked questions directly from the source (and if when they did they never stopped/bothered to get the entire picture and just jump into conclusions that everyone is bad in the family)…
Oh, and accept help from others in the form of servants who are illegitimate (no questions asked, just swallow that lie also). That’s what smart people do
