So dumb. Don’t let anyone delude yourself into thinking this is noble or “better than you”. He totally discarded that he was gonna kill himself by falling to death, he got constantly bullied and they trapped him to make sure he dies.
MC discarding this whole ordeal because he got reincarnated and “everything went better than expected” doesn’t justify this reaction at all. He should have punished him at least somewhat, not to feel justification, but to actually put an end to a criminal. Not to mention to actually self-reflect on his journey and putting an actual end to his misery somewhat. Instead he just deludes himself that the ends justify the means and doesn’t reflect at all.
It’s stupid and just so the author can progress the story the way he wants to.
It’s a disgrace, a delusion and a terribly poor character development for the MC.
Really , “TWO beautiful women”? That one is not MILF material.

Standard beta op protagonist syndrome. Authors just pull this card to make their protagonists “holier than thou.”
They laughed as they ran you dumb clown of a protagonist. They smacked you around when you were working for them. They never thought of you as a comrade, you’re deluding yourself.
In his shoes I’d probably tell them to have Zoid arrested for attempted murder. The only reason I wouldn’t go full vengeance is because it might disappoint the girl in my eye.
