Yeah Mc is screwed. Its going to be a constant up hill battle for her. Especially with how Villian is some sort of “Being” other than human (probably) and also the Mc (probably). But the mc just regained her memory, but not the “True” memory that the Villian has. It also seems that the villian is just trying to taunt and put the mc through misery instead of trying to kill her
