Um are the side characters stupid? He himself knew of what mc did to that guy that was basically the Emperor’s strongest solider. So what makes him think he can get out of here alive if mc wants to kill him? This entire thing that guy threatened mc with only works if the other person is basically too stupid and too merciful. Cuz from all of what the author set up this world to be not be kind at all to the weak and mc sure ain’t one
