Dude making flawless footprints with 100 percent accuracy of race would be extremely valuable to the guilds for new adventurers to buy copies of to help track down what they are hunting.

So basically he lied. He said that he can only make things that he broke, however he is able to make whatever is in his crafting list. Some things require materials like the furniture he makes but other things he can just make out of nothing such as the swords and those bronze statues.
I wish i was horrible at alcohol. It’s the one thing i am good at.
