A work is a reflection of their local people, culture, psychology, norms, etc. Is it weird every time I read manga like this, it makes me think Japanese young generation needs help?

Nah I kind of like their extreme selfishness combined with their goofy religious worldview that causes them to hate others arbitrarily. It makes it very easy to root against them. Complicated emotional obstacles shouldn’t happen too early in the story. Think of Game of Thrones and how in the beginning, someone like Jaime was someone you definitely wanted to just die, but over time you began to understand it.

They are very lucky… that the mc with otherworld memories, isn’t a vengeful person.
It is called a self fulfilling prophecy. (by treating her in such a way they could create someone with a vendetta to the village that will come back to hurt them)
detail non specific events, that are needed to reach a desired outcome
eg: when a evil ruler needs to be overthrown, the prophet/oracle will weave a story about someone who needs to do a series of somethings and needs to be and act a certain way and have such and such relations /presence to achieve it possibily including vague items hidden by riddles[which is a variable]
being anything that fits what THAT variable is supposed to do that the hero can think of or find by asking around.
[usually people who have heard the prophecy will have been preparing and waiting for the storied hero]
thereby the prophecy itself is actually the source that created [self fulfilled] such an opportunity in the first place.
and of course if it fails this time,
obviously THIS wasn’t the event of the prophecy spoke of and it will remain until the people waiting who believe in it find the next person who fits the description of the hero for them to tell the prophecy to.
A vengeful person with modern knowledge, could very easily get back at them by poisoning their water supply.
when the child grows up and comes back for vengeance…
