The staff chose him, no way the staff will destroy Lloyd. This, or Lloyd may be the more powerful compared to the staff, so it can’t harm him, what else?

The “let’s keep secrets from Merlin so she doesn’t get upset” thing is an obvious mistake. If the staff has a chance of destroying MC’s body they could tell him about it. Or Merlin could teach him how to prevent that outcome or at least limit it.

I don’t think I will continue this, don’t get me wrong its good but it feels kinda rushed, the events just don’t be adding up and the MC is cool and all, but I despise when there’s an OP support guy, but he doesn’t cast buffs on himself that’s like common sense , hopefully if i ever decide to continue this on the future the staff he has makes him ten time more stronger and more smarter and more confident.
