Hmm i kinda understand it, first of all mc was inside the tower of illusion where it got picked and beat it as his friends die, but in the “Original” world or earth 0 or 1 they are just asleep and has not woken up.
As mc destroyed the tower ending it, he gets transferred to a world called “chaos”? And he perceives every being there as just skeletons ofcourse the characters dont know that but the blacksmitter did he saw his juniors as literally skeletons
In sense every being in “chaos” are both living and dead at the same time in mc’s eyes they are dead already and in characters eyes they are all alive and kicking

i think him seeing the blacksmith as human is about the belief and hope with themselves, hope seems to be a pretty big theme in the manhwa and on the flip side, the loss of hope,
originally the blacksmith was filled with despair by the walls he set for himself but after our boi the mc came along and destroyed those walls he was filled with new hope
Damn, but why is the old man still a human but the other people not? Because he’s so honest working?
