I’m betting the nightmares left because they were tired of seeing the humans lose themselves and turn into nothing but husks of their former selves and that they wanted to try and save some semblance of humanity but gave up when they deemed it impossible

This manhwa was about the typical tower genre, but the author went a step beyond and created a story about what was beyond. Our MC broke through the limits and found himself in a place where those who died in the tower remained, Chaos. Stuff called Constellations like to buy high end warriors for god knows what and devils use towers to “grow” warriors. MC has broken past the veil and is now able to see things on the same level as the nightmares (Nightmares are beings with immense powers. Similar to the devils, they live for centuries and have an understanding that we humans cannot comprehend. Imagine a little kid talking with a high level mathematician, the little kid would not understand a single word that the mathematician is saying because they are A, young and B, they’re a kid).
